Derby City SEN Support

Based at the Beaufort Street Business Centre, Derby (01332 641414). The Service provides impartial advice, support and guidance to parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs. The Service is by parent/carer referral.

Derbyshire SEN Support

Covers all of Derbyshire (except Derby City) – is based at the Chesterfield Register Office, New Beetwell Street, Chesterfield (01629 533660). The Service provides impartial advice, support and guidance to parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs. The Service is by parental/carer referral.


Derbyshire Parent Forums

The Co-ordinator is based at the Chesterfield Register Office, New Beetwell Street, Chesterfield (01629 533660). The Parent Forums cover all Derbyshire (except Derby City) and are there to enable parents and carers to participate in the decision making process and to influence Local and Health Authority policy and practice. There will also be a County wide Parent Forum established.

Derbyshire Exclusions Support

Based at the Chesterfield Register Office, New Beetwell Street, Chesterfield (01629 533660) and covers all Derbyshire, except Derby City. The Service provides impartial advice, support and guidance to parents and carers of children who are at risk of or who have been excluded, fixed term or permanently, from school. The Service is by parental/carer referral.
